Start at the showroom with the full HD sample wall. Then Chad comes to your house, measures every opening, and we order from Hunter Douglas direct.

Lead time: 3-5 weeks for most lines. PowerView motorized orders run a touch longer. We track every order and notify you when shipping arrives.

What's the difference between Silhouette and Pirouette?
Silhouette is the classic floating-fabric vane look — soft fabric vanes suspended between two sheer panels, tilted with a wand. Pirouette is similar but the fabric vanes are larger and overlap when closed, giving a fuller fabric look like a roman shade. Silhouette is the cleaner, lighter option; Pirouette is the warmer, more substantial option. We'll show you both side-by-side at the showroom.
Are Hunter Douglas products worth the premium price?
For the right window, yes. HD branded shades are an investment — they cost more than a roller or honeycomb shade — but they're built to last 15-20+ years, they have a lifetime HD warranty, and they look like nothing else on the market. For high-visibility windows (great rooms, dining rooms, transoms), they're often the difference between a decorated room and a designed one.
What's the lead time?
Typical lead time is 3 to 5 weeks. Motorized PowerView orders take a bit longer because the motors are matched to each opening. We schedule the install for the week the shades arrive — usually a single-day install for a whole house.
Do Hunter Douglas shadings come with motorization?
Most do, via Hunter Douglas's own PowerView® platform. PowerView includes app control (iOS + Android), the Pebble remote, and integrations with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Control4, and Crestron smart-home systems.
